Stand & Fight!

The Word of the Lord comes to you from Galatians 5:1, Stand fast in the liberty, wherewith Christ has set you free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

I sense a strong urge of the Holy Spirit to encourage you to "fight the good fight of faith." Over the past several months, the Lord has broken shackles off our lives, liberated and freed us from so many things and people...including ourselves.  He has enriched our lives and set us on a path to fulfill His will and plan for our lives.

But what I'm sensing is that many of us did not anticipate such a fight as we've had to encounter on our way to possession.  I encourage you to hold fast to your confession.  You did hear from God.  He did speak to you. You're still in the Potter's hands...even while being broken. But many are getting weary, tired and confused.  In these moments...moments because they will pass...you must stand still and experience Daddy God's salvation and deliverance power.  All power and authority belongs to Him.  In your weakest moments, He promised to be your Strength.  You're valuing the words and opinions of people rather than getting and maintaining God's perspective and Word on the situation, which is causing you to slip back into your old ways.

Now, granted, God's ways and thoughts are totally unlike ours.  So, He will say and instruct some way out things.  But as His sheep, follow!  Follow crying, follow unsure, follow frustrated, follow empty, FOLLOW!  God's got your best (not convenient) interest at heart.

Rise up and fight!  Fight for yourself, your future and everything that entails.  Fighting most of the time involves first and foremost fighting ourselves.  Allowing the Holy Spirit to develop in us a meek (not weak) and quiet spirit...one that leans on and trust the Lord in every situation. One that doesn't blame others, but looks for personal ownership in every situation, understanding that all things are really working together for our good because we love God and know that on our worst day...yes, we're still called of God.

I weep as I write (type) this, because I feel your pain, frustration and loneliness.  I wish I could lay my hands upon you and release God's direction, strength and joy by faith.  Since I can't, I'll pray the prayer of faith and trust that you will agree by faith and we will watch God move:

Father in Jesus' name, Thank You for Your loving-kindness and tender-mercies.  You are great and there's nobody nowhere like You.  We love You more than life itself.  It's in You that we live, move and have our being.  God, many of us are in a time of extreme vulnerability.  We feel overwhelmed and defeated.  So, we come to You as the Author and Finisher of our faith...asking for healing, strength and guidance.  We humble ourself and rededicate our commitment and devotion to You.  Speak to us again and we say a fresh Yes in Jesus name.  Thank You God...for it is so according to Your Word and will...in Jesus' name.  Amen.

Whew! What an extraordinary Presence of God that has settled over us.....

Feel free to pass this on to a Sister-in-Need.

Be Blessed,
